The Stockroom Coordinator will have the ability to organize and schedule daily activity and help team members meet individual and company objectives. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize materials activities are extremely important as is the ability to multi-task. Responsibilities include interacting with co-workers, kitting, maintaining inventory, material inspections, daily cycle counting and maintaining company records. Experience in an electronic manufacturing environment is required as well as computer skills including MS Office, and experience with ERP. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices is a plus. This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage all inventories including bays outside the stockroom and work-in process
  • Daily cycle counts, ability to reconcile inventory discrepancies, FIFO management, and maintaining lot control
  • Manage kitting process utilizing best practices
  • Impeccable organizational skills with labeling & identifying materials and maintaining a clean work environment
  • Ability to pick finished goods for customer orders
  • Ability to kit materials for manufacturing floor; identifying material shortages and working with Purchasing to expedite missing items
  • Maintenance of shipment logs
  • Knowledge of internal shipping procedure

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 - 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment as a Stockroom/Inventory Coordinator, with a High School diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of an ERP system. Preference will be given to candidates with experience using Visual Manufacturing
  • Working knowledge of bar code equipment and systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel & Word)
