The RF Engineer is a senior design engineering position with responsibility for ultra-wideband GPR RF system design. This is a full-time salaried, exempt position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, simulate, debug, and test of RF systems in ground penetrating radar.
  • Plan and develop experimental test programs to verify compliance to all applicable regulations including Part 15 of Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) rules regarding ultra-wideband transmission systems.
  • Analyze test data and reports to determine if the proposed design meets functional and performance specifications.
  • Participating in development of a new generation of subsurface imaging equipment with application to worldwide utility, construction, mining, civil engineering, forensic and security markets.

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • A minimum education of a MS in Electrical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in RF circuit design, model, prototype and test.
  • Strong working knowledge in RF circuit design and system design.
  • Understanding of Part 15 of the FCC rules applicable to ultra-wideband devices.
  • A strong background in using RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzer, signal generators, power meters.
  • Working knowledge of basic Radar performance concepts.
  • Strong record of problem solving skills.
  • Excellent people skills and outstanding work ethic and commitment to organizational success.
